What happens when you come in

It starts with a warm hello and getting you into the capable hands of your stylist, who’ll chat with you about styles and colors and make suggestions they know will work for you. Taking the stress out of shopping is what we do, and we’re a little famous for it.

Before you arrive

You pick a time and tell us the occasion, your size, and anything you already love. We pull pieces and have a fitting room ready.

When you get here

One stylist, start to finish, who stays with you the whole time. If something isn’t working, they’ll say so and go find you something better.

Getting the fit right

Almost nothing fits perfectly off the rack, and it isn’t supposed to. Our alterations happen in house, so what you take home is cut to you.

Mother of the bride or groom. A gala, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a milestone birthday. The high stakes ones, where you want to walk in knowing you look right.

Business Wear

Pieces that hold up in a boardroom, on a panel, or on camera. Built to be worn hard and still look like you meant it.

Casual Wear

The everyday things worth owning. Travel pieces that survive a suitcase, separates that go further than they should.

General Shopping

You’re not sure yet. That’s a good enough reason to come in, and honestly it’s how a lot of our favorite fittings start.

Bring the opinion that matters

Finding the perfect dress should be exciting. But with so many opinions, it can sometimes get confusing, and even emotional. To make your experience easier and more enjoyable, we require that anyone whose opinion you want as part of your decision be available to join you, in person or by FaceTime, during your appointment. Before you book, please check that they’ll be free.

We don’t charge an appointment fee, and we’ve found this to be one of the best ways to make sure you feel confident, comfortable, and happy with your choice, so the experience stays about you and the dress you love.

Reserve your fitting room

Choose what you’re dressing for and pick a time that suits you. We’ll email you back to confirm, and the room will be ready.

Stylist availability: Joel is out Sept 8-10, 12, and 21. Annick is out Aug 31 through Sept 10, plus Sept 12 and 21. If you’d like one of them specifically, please pick a date they’re in, or ask for the next available stylist.

Before you come

Start early
Three to six months ahead for a big event. Alterations take time, and the good pieces go.

 

An hour is standard
That’s what most appointments run. If you’d like longer, you can add time when you book, in half hour steps.

 

Tell us your size
It’s optional on the form, but knowing your size is extremely helpful as we prepare for your appointment.

 

Bring what inspires you
A photo, a Pinterest board, a color, a dress you already love. It helps us find the right thing faster.

 

Bring your people
A daughter, a friend, a second opinion. If they can’t make it, we’ll FaceTime them in.

 

What happens next
You’ll get an email confirming we have your request, then a second one once your time is locked in.
